Harrigan’s Hunter Valley Aged Cheddar is aged to perfection for three (3) years. We make this farmhouse cheddar using traditional cheesemaking techniques, vegetarian rennet and locally sourced cows’ milk.
Bold, crumbly, and sweet, with a nutty richness, you will enjoy a soft mouthfeel that is both surprising and a delight. The perfect cheddar to savour with your friends and family while snacking with a Hunter Valley Chardonnay, Shiraz, or crisp cider.
The green food-grade wax protects the cheese for up to two years when purchased as a whole wheel; the half portions are vacuum-sealed and can be stored for up to three months from the date of purchase. Proof that great things come with age, and ready to enjoy when you are !!
Enjoy on a cheese platter with our housemade Green Chili Jam or Caramelised Onion Marmalade, crackers or warm sourdough bread, fresh pear slices or balsamic onions for an easy entertaining idea.
