Description
Celebrate the elegance of our new Grapevine Ash & Basil Marinated Feta, made using vegetarian rennet crafted in small batches weekly in the heart of the Hunter Valley, and is a preservative free cheese.
Drained and then soaked in our sea salt brine for two or three days to obtain just the right amount of salt to flavour the cheese and evoke a palate pleasing saltiness combined with the smokiness of the marinade.
This delicate, creamy feta is lightly dusted with local organic grapevine ash, adding a soft earthy note and presents a beautiful contrast to the whiteness of the feta – such a visually appealing cheese makes this the perfect addition to a cheeseboard, salad, or mezze platter. Marinated in local premium extra virgin olive oil and a healthy sprinkle of dried basil the flavours gently infuse and mellow. Absolutely outstanding and delicious !!
Serve with smoked cherry tomatoes and thick cut sourdough or crunchy chilli nuts for a delightfully indulgent entrée or snack.
